Zurich. The beginning of the tour. On the round stage for the first time, in the middle of the stadium.

The mash-up program for the first time.”für dich immer noch fanta sie tour 2010” for the first time.

All members are on edge, all are tired. For days there had been rehearsals, screwing, programming, welding, preparing, washing, drying, ironing – all these things typical of the beginning of a tour.

I am in a stage of agitation as well, although I will not appear on stage. Even after more than 21 years, I still feel jittery when my four men enter the stage. Sometimes I have the impression that I am more jittery than they are. After two hours and ten minutes the act is over. Apart from some really tiny glitches, everything worked well. Even so, no one is spared the hour-long inquest and debates that extend well into the wee hours. That is why these people are called pros. Thank you Zurich. You have been a great crowd for the beginning of tour. We will come back.

Now we must hurry to Mannheim. We are already well behind the time schedule…

Initially Andreas “Bär” Läsker wanted to be a photographer. He has now been the bandmanager of the Fantastischen Vier for 21 years, but the passion for photography has not left him.  Equipped with M9 and S2 sets and having known the band members for more than 20 years, he will document the new tour of the Fanta4  and bring us intimate photos of the life of the band in its element.
