Daniel Zvereff is a freelance designer, illustrator and photographer. He travels to the far corners of the world documenting his journeys through images and journals.

After two hazy nights traveling on an old Soviet train, I arrived in Almaty, Kazakhstan. For the next 10 days I would be southwest bound between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan traveling through Almaty, Bishkek and Osh. I was in awe of the tremendously beautiful landscapes that I’ve heard so little of and was also blessed to have some wonderful encounters with the nomadic people of Kyrgyzstan .

Below are the moments I was able to capture in that time.
