On 10 July 2012, Leica Camera Ltd. officially opened the doors to its brand new premises at 27 Bruton Place, Mayfair, London W1. Located opposite the Leica Store Mayfair, the new retail complex incorporates Café Optik on the ground floor, a complimentary café-style area for Leica owners. Here customers can seek advice and technical support from Leica’s UK in-house Client Care team. A clean room and laboratory for sensor cleaning and light repairs of Leica products is also available.

Upstairs on the second floor is the Leica Studio-S, a discreet, premium professional photographic studio with full make-up and changing rooms, hospitality and digital operator facilities.

Attending the launch was Dr. Andreas Kaufmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Leica Camera AG, who officially unveiled both Studio-S and Café Optik to more than 100 specially invited guests at the evening event. Dr. Kaufmann commented, “Leica Mayfair is the first store to have been developed into the Leica ‘super-store’ concept, which means involving other elements – not just an outlet purely for sales.”

At 34 Bruton Place, the Leica Store Mayfair continues to offer the entire range of Leica products, with an expanded Leica Akademie training facility and new Media Centre located upstairs on the first floor.

Bruton Place is located in the heart of Mayfair between Old Bond Street and Berkeley Square. For more information on the Leica Store Mayfair, and all Leica products and services in the UK, please visit www.leica-storemayfair.co.uk or call 020 7629 1351.
